Who wears the most useless body armor, Jaffa warriors or Star Wars's Imperial Stormtroopers?

The show had potential, but it was ruined by the ridiculous communication stones and the terrorist raid at the end of season 1. These elements completely destroyed the sense of being lost in an unknown region of space, millions and millions light years away from Earth, when the main characters could magically swap bodies with people on Earth (for boring filler episodes by the way) and visit their friends and family... or when some rogue Milky Way organization can just use the Stargate to attack the ship at any time. For me, this show should've cut all ties with the whole Milky Way, the moments the characters stepped foot on Destiny and just focus entirely on survival, exploration of the unknown, the alien race that was chasing the ship, and the mysterious structures discovered in some of the planets visited by the crew. Atlantis did a way better job at this, with the only exception that the characters weren't lost, and they obviously couldn't cut ties with the Milky Way entirely, because Earth ships could still travel the distance.

I like how this guy is winking at the audience while explaining the different story lines. You know this is true, right? 😉😉😉😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

It has always been strange to me why people with Asgard and Goa'uld technology at the level that allows them to create spaceships did not create light infantry weapons in the form of energy and plasma rifles? Why reverse engineering didn't work for infantry and scouts, who were in much more danger than anyone else. I would be glad if at least SG1 and the Atlantean research groups received energy rifles similar to the blasters of the Kull warriors.

I did like how they kinda developed their own ways of military strategy around the gates as SGC got older. Oh we can't deploy tanks through the gate? Put a 50 cal on a rover chassis and slap a gun shield on it. Or how eventually when SGC knew it was a hostile world they would have multiple SG teams establish gate perimeter's while the main characters did their thing.
